Join Couchsurfing to see Anne’s full profile. It’s free!
I may have quite possibly the biggest dimples you've ever seen. I grew up in a blue van around the US of A to a WASPy dad and Korean mum, and came of age in the Southern Hemisphere. I will stare you squarely in the eye and ask for your story. Or finish my beer before you do. Whatever comes first. Let's be friends? (Or let me crash on your couch).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people! To explore not only new places, but people as well.
mountaineering/climbing/sustainable living/street art/surfing/languages/motorcycles/music/writing/yoga/pottery/scuba diving/etc.
Music, Movies, and Books
I read incessantly. Neruda and E.E. Cummings are always in my backpack, and Joseph Campbell's "Power of Myth" changed the way I view the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived with elephants for a month in Cambodia. The non-profit I worked for rehabilitates these animals after years spent in the abusive logging and oil industries. Truly, they are some of the most magnificent creatures on the planet.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always down to do some language exchange?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've done a lot of helpx and workaway exchanges, so I love to help people in whatever way I can. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. On the (less) practical side, I have graphic/web design/videography/photography experience if needed. Other than that: a smile and a home away from home in New York.
Countries I’ve Visited
