I may have quite possibly the biggest dimples you've ever seen. I grew up in a blue van around the US of A to a mixed German/American dad and Korean mum, and came of age in the Southern Hemisphere. I will stare you squarely in the eye and ask for your story. Or finish my beer before you do. Whatever comes first. Let's be friends? (Or let me crash on your couch!) I'm always keen to learn from everyone I meet and from everything I do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've counchsurfed unofficially, but what really strikes me about this website is the community. After all - travel is not just about new places, but meeting new people, and understanding new perspectives as well.
- street art
- scuba diving
- rock climbing
- language exchange
- sustainable development
Music, Movies, and Books
I read incessantly. Neruda and E.E. Cummings are always in my backpack, and Joseph Campbell's "Power of Myth" changed the way I view the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've done a lot of helpx and workaway exchanges, so I love to help people in whatever way I can. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. On the (less) practical side, I have graphic/web design/videography/photography experience if needed. Other than that: a smile and a home away from home in New York.
