About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Social working away in the land of CT while I finish up school, then it's off to the Coast Guard! I'm super outgoing, love to try new things (especially food), and will do pretty much any outdoor activity. I have an amazing dog, Tess. She's very well behaved and friendly. I also love to cook, so if you're into that no need to go out and eat! I can just make you something.
PHILOSOPHY
If living in Montana taught me anything, it's to be friendly and kind. Things get so fast paced on the east coast (where I'm from) that folks often forget kind and simple human interaction.
Stay wild, friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By being an awesome guest and hopefully soon a host (CT). In so many respects this is way better than a hotel. It's a great way to meet new people, have a more tailored experience of the surrounding culture, and get more out of life!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Once in NYC and once in Nashville, both were wonderful!
Interests
Music for sure (I think I've gone over that already I'll listen to just about anything.) Being outside doing whatnot (sports, riding the horses, wandering around aimlessly on a nice day, frolicking and such.) I love to cook! It's my favorite hobby by far! It's a great excuse to get everyone together and to try new things. Other than that, it's pretty much all outdoor activities with my pup.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some days I enjoy tea, classical music and a book (Most things by Tolkien are superior to any book. I've never read to Twilight series, nor do I intend to. The Bourne series, Hunt for the Red October and Flags of Our Fathers just to name a few.) Others I like country music and cowboy boots. Then of course we can't leave out the days where listening to Celtic music on a mountain side is the best idea. The ones when I rock out are probably the most fun but that's just me...
The Boondock Saints is undisputably my favorite movie (the second one is mehh...) Other than that it's the same with my musical and books taste, I'll try it once.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think that was probably the purpose of setting this up. I've seen a fair portion of the US which is good because I feel that most people who live here don't take the time to appreciate it. I'd say my current US road trip tour is up there!
Teach, Learn, Share
Anyone who says they don't need to continue learning anymore doesn't enjoy their life enough. There's always room for another experience either through teaching or being taught. Thus far I think I'm good for a cooking lesson, coaching a rower, or just an interesting conversation. I've got plenty left to learn.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Laughs, stories, and food! Plus you can pet my dog :)
