I grew up in a little village in Northern Germany with probably more cows than inhabitants. I am an open-minded, happy girl, always up for meeting new people and hearing their stories.

My partner Liam and I currently live in beautiful Lübeck and we would love to host people, as we even have a guest room now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came here in 2013 when my 2 best friends were travelling through South America and I was the one who had to stay in Hamburg and work/study. It gave me a great opportunity to be at home, but still be able to meet different people from all over the world with the same adventurous and curious spirit. Since then, I have hosted a bunch of people and stayed at a few people's couches in Europe and North and South America.

Interests

I always wanna see new places and new cultures and understand the way how people live and think all over the world. I work for a company that facilitates international relocation, i.e. helps foreigners with their visa processes when wanting to work in Germany.

Liam and I both really enjoy hiking, cycling, canoeing, camping, skiing and lots of other outdoor activities. We like reading and playing board games (such as Dominion, 7 Wonders, Settlers of Catan,...) and cooking (vegetarian).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Canoeing through the Discovery Islands on the west coast of Canada. Spending the whole ski season in Nelson, BC, Canada. Bungee jumping and paragliding in Andalusia (Spain). Sunset camelride and camping in the Sahara (Morocco). Seeing kangaroos, koalas, emus and wombats in Australia. Staying some nights in the rainforest in Peru. Hiking the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu.
