This might be my last vacation with my teenage son!!!

ABOUT ME

I'm a single mom, living in Minneapolis, with a wonderful 13 year old son. He spends half his summers in California with dad, and with school, sports, etc it's a challenge to find time to travel...and as he's growing up so fast I am trying to vacation with him while I can, because before I know it, he won't be wanting to travel with mom. I hope to build life-long memories on this trip, and hope I don't have to get a second mortage to make this happen!!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in seeing the goodness in others whenever possible, giving lots of second chances, and always, always forgiving. I believe that charity and community work is a responsibility, not a hobby and people ought to do more of it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not sure what to say here...my hairdresser has participated and she's a firm believer, and I'd be happy to host someone at my home...albeit a small home.
