CURRENT MISSION

To complete my contract in PNG and get back to New Zealand where I have a great lady waiting for me! So until that day arrives I'm here to lend a hand to good people with a common goal. Hopefully what goes around comes around and I'll be producing zzzz's

ABOUT ME

Went to New zealand when I was 18 for a month on holiday and loved the place. Haven't been home since:) My first job was as an outdoor pursuits instructor which I did for over 4yrs. The lifestyle was superb but the money wasn't. I decided I needed a job with a company car and opened the paper with that in mind. Ad read: Used car salesman required, company car supplied, no experience required. That was my next job for 2yrs. I'd wanted to be a pilot since I was knee high to a grass hopper and thought my general scalywag behaviour at school may have paid bade to that idea but after finding a good flying school realised this not to be the case. 2yrs later I was a flight instructor which I did for 3yrs part time. Once again not great money so subsidised my wallet with other assorted jobs in aviation. I've now been in my current job with NCA for about 7 months. It's a great job and I enjoy it very much. My sweetheart is a helicopter pilot back in Auckland and I miss her heaps. The goal at this stage is to gain as much experience as I can and then get a job which allows me to be with her more than the current 6 weeks a year:)

PHILOSOPHY

For once you have experienced flight you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward for there you have been and there you will long to return.

I'm more interested at this stage in helping good like minded people to have a short term place to stay than finding couches for myself to kip.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Woken up on plenty of couches in the past wondering where the hell I am and more to the point where the hell is the toilet!

Like anyone I have many interests. Some past some present and ones I intend to become better acquainted with in the future. To many to list, better just to chat about each others when you get here.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a 1tb hard drive jammed full of music and films etc. I'm sure we can all find something to listen to that we agree on:) My tastes are very broad in all departments, especially music and books, which I also have a good collection of.
