CURRENT MISSION

I came to South Korea to get a little lost, to grow a bit more before more education and babies and so on. My work as an English teacher provides me with cash to travel. This life is also providing lots of free time and sources of curiosity.

ABOUT ME

I have lived in Maryland, Virginia, Maine, Alaska, California, Massachusetts, New York and South Korea. Alaska was the best, even though it was dark all winter.

My music tastes include some electronic music, British and ancient/old forms of choral music, a generous portion of reggae though some dance hall and lovers reggae doesn't appeal to me, classical and romantic music, particularly Debussy and Chopin, Cuban music and Latin music in general, Hall and Oates, Joy Division, Joanna Newsom, Devendra Banhart, Sonic Youth, Patty Cline, some children's music, Shuggy Otis

Books? Well, I am about to read "The Shipping News" by Annie Proulx. I really liked Michael Pollan's "Second Nature." How about I just list some other authors? I like Wallace Stegner, Walt Whitman, Edith Wharton, Henry James, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Joan Didion. Yeah, their literary and poetic works are pleasing. Rimbaud's incredible.
