About Me
Software developer and future mars colonist. (Well, a boy can dream...)
Political activist, gamer, plant based.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to Couchsurfing. What seemed appealing about it was the sense of uncertainty: Staying with a stranger in an unknown city or even country? Just the kind of adventure I'm looking for. I'm hoping to host travellers in the future as well, since my girlfriend and I both like hosting nice people in general and believe that hospitality is important.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Metal, medieval folk, hiphop, harsh electro.
Books: Fantasy (high, low and urban) and scifi, occasionally thrillers, and whatever genre Murakami writes.
Movies: I'm no cinephile, I'll watch anything if it isn't modern Hollywood action trash. I'd rather sew a woolen tunic or play a good game though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen a Japanese girl with a stupid German tattoo ("RAusch NÖtig SÜß KEtten", sic!). I thought this only happened the other way round, with westerners getting tattoos of asian symbols that actually mean "automatic door", but apparently it's a two-way road.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you more puns than you will probably ever have to know, and I can also tell you about the peculiarities of Bavaria. (Hooray for useless knowledge!)
If you're knowledgeable about medieval clothing of your culture, I'd be happy to learn about that!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Uh... My eternal gratitude. And conversations about life, the universe and everything.
