To see and photograph as much as the world as possible
I am from New Jersey, but commute everyday into New York City for school and work. I am a senior at Fordham University in Manhattan. I will be graduating in May and entering the "real world" as people say. I love photography, specifically black and white, and I love photographing and being in the darkroom. I hope to find a job involved in the field or at least related to it in some capacity. I have always loved art in general and music and am so interested in other cultures. I am double-majoring in Visual Arts in Photography and Anthropology and minoring in Italian.
"Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the summer, my roommate hosted three or four guests when we were there so I have had experience "co-hosting" and hanging out with them (one of them ended up coming back to just see us in NYC for a week this March and we still stay in touch!), so it seemed awesome and I look forward to meeting more new people, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i followed an elderly woman from a small market in Venice back to her house because I wanted to photograph her and upon trying to find her keys she saw me and then we chatted about her life. This stranger was so welcoming, friendly, and endearing. I'll never forget it and the love and luck she wished me when we finally said goodbye. These little experiences are the ones that matter!
