ABOUT ME

We are a family consisting of mother, father, and 2 year old daughter. We like to play games, go to parks, walk everywhere to explore and meet new people. We like to find the best playground in every area we explore. We love good food - especially Thai food and sushi. We live as sustainably as possible and highly value our earth and community.

We are also complete geeks. We love geeky TV shows, like Firefly, and participating in geeky projects.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We were recently introduced to couch surfing through friends of ours who are very active in the couch surfing community. We were inspired by their stories and are excited about hosting and surfing ourselves.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We moved to Magdeburg, German from America in January and ended up surfing on many friends couches in the process of getting settled. It made such a difference staying with friends! We had more fun and support during this transition than we would have had staying in a hotel - not to mention all the money we saved.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our favorite trip was our honeymoon to Thailand. We got scuba certified and had the most amazing experience exploring the world underwater.
