About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish my thesis

ABOUT ME

I'm a student working on an archaeology degree. My friends would tell you I'm energetic, wordy, and easily excited. I love talking to anyone, and if anyone wants a little language help, I would be delighted to talk your ear off. I would also love to cook for you if you can host me for the night.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is all about letting people have the freedom to live their own lives, direct their own fortunes, but still have support from the community and an education geared for creative thinking, making things, and innovation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed on other people's couches and both of them have been really really great experiences for me. I'm glad that there are sites like Couchsurfers around for us to meet new people and have new adventures.

Interests

I'm interested in archaeology, movies, food, and animals. I love to travel, to sight-see, and to explore new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of things, I'm not really picky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done is when I was in Malta last year. I was with a group of archaeologists who let us into the Neolithic temples that dot those islands. These places are magnificent. I got the chance to take a close look at the hundreds of little carvings that graffiti the walls. The views from these places were also awe inspiring. After all, they were meant to be seen and admired from miles away.
I was also in Oregon, visiting family a few summers back. They used to have a little beach house decades ago, so we visited the beach and the cottage one summer morning. While the older generation reminisced, I grabbed the little kids and we went to the beach. We watched the sun rise over the giant 'haystack' rock and played in the surf.
