I'm starting my career in social work, my dream goal is to specialize in LGBTQ mental health. I love talking about social justice, LGBTQ issues, gaming, and travelling, in particular I love learning about the local scene wherever I go when I'm travelling! I've never been much for visiting touristy areas, I much prefer checking out where the locals go, the sites and events that people typically would recommend who live in the area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I heard about it through a friend prior to a cross country road trip. I was on a tight budget as a grad student and appreciated getting to see the local scene and meet people along the way during that trip, and it was INCREDIBLE. I'd love to be able to pay it forward now and host other travellers, and hopefully I can travel more in the future!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love EDM, horror movies and comedies (favorite movie ever is Zombieland, love the combo of horror and comedy!), I tend to read more non-fiction than fiction because I love learning. Lately I've mostly been reading psychology books, learning about various mental illnesses and self-help.
