I'm Ariadna, i'm 20 years old and I live in a town near Barcelona, Sant Boi de Llobregat. I'm studying Social Work at University of Barcelona.

I love music, I am apassionate about dance and sing. I'm always happy cause i cannot live with the sadness, and i try to transmit this to the people who are around me. I love animals too, all of them, and i use to talk to everyone, i like the people and i'm very curious, i love to learn new things, a lot of new things, and having exciting experiences. I don't tolerate the egoism and the fact of contaminate, I appreciate infinitely the nature, it give us life and good things, so we have to take care of it and don't destroy. So that's the reason why I want to improve my knowledge about gardening and permaculture, cause in the future I want to focus my life in this way!

I'm always doing something, being outside, strolling, playing some game, reading... By the way, i love books, but those ones that teach you something beneficial and interesting for yourself. I enjoy a lot meeting new people form different cultures to expand my vision of the world and to learn new things cause everyone and every experience can contribute to your personal growth!!

I speak Spanish and Catalan, I think I have a good english level but, of course, i want to improve it!!! I'm do crafts with recycled and reused materials, and i like to sew and make handmade clothes like handbags, skirts, tshirts… I follow the Gandhi's concept "be the change you wanna see in the world".
I'm vegetarian, i don't eat meat because i don't agree killing animals for eating if Nature give us different ways to get what we need to eat to be healthy. I love cooking, I think it's a creative activity and you can have fun with it. I support the healthy cooking, cause you have to treat right your body, it will be with you a long time!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because i love to meet new people and i think they could show me the very best of their own town, so it's going to be more exciting than going on by myself and i can learn more about their culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is reggae roots, but i love too ska, jazz, country... I'm in love with all kind of music except hard rock or those that produces so much noise. My favorite group is toots and the maytals. I like historical movies and my two favorites are moulin rouge and chicago. I really like to read, but those books that teach me something that i can use in my life.
