Hola a todos!

I grew up in a beach town in Lima, Peru until the age of 12, since then I have moved quite a bit around the U.S including Florida, North Carolina, Southern California and I am currently living in one of the most fun and beautiful cities in this country, San Francisco! I recently graduated with a degree in International Business and World Development Studies and I hope I can find a job working with a Non-Profit somewhere in Latin America. Traveling has added so much value in my life that it has become a must, not only because you get to see new places and see how things are done differently but in the process you get to make connections with people that otherwise you would have never crossed paths with.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

When I was studying abroad in Italy I discovered the wonders of Couchsurfing. Not only did it make me feel safer when traveling but it also made me feel like I was part of a community of people of trusting people. Welcoming complete strangers and opening doors to their homes takes spirit and good will and I felt glad to be part of that community.

Interessen

Dancing is my passion! From merengue, salsa, bachata to any type of dancing. Also, soccer is a big part of my life and will always be down for some pick up soccer. Lastly, sunny days and the ocean breeze make me very happy!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I mostly use 8tracks, type the mood I'm feeling in and let the stations play. So.. surprisingly I can't name many artists but I'm usually in the "chill wave" stations. Some artists that I really like are Coldplay, UB40, Reggae, The Police, DLG, Shakira oldies, Juan Luis Guerra, Concha Buika, Chavela Vargas, etc.
