ABOUT ME
Experiencing anything new.
I want to understand the world, how people and cultures relate and interact. While I'm pretty academically focused, I realize there's a limit to what I can take away from that setting, and try to explore more broadly. In particular, I want to find that sense of contentment you get sitting in a coffeeshop on a warm autumn day and looking out on the street.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've attended a number of local meetups, and tried to couchsurf during my latest travels.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None, unfortunately.
Interests
I love getting outside, whether hiking, road/mountain biking, or rock climbing. I'm not so sure how to do that from Tel Aviv right now, but I always take advantage of an opportunity to do so.
I spend a lot of time on languages, especially ones very different from English. While I've picked up bits of many, I really hope to be fluent in another language.

Music, Movies, and Books
My reading is on and off. Some of my favorites have been Philip K. Dick, Borges, Heinlein, Zelazny, Murakami, and Cormac McCarthy.
Recently trying to get a handle on early 20th century English literature: so far Faulkner, Joyce, and Woolf.
I don't have very strong preferences about movies, but I'll watch just about anything.
