One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the boundary between Africa and Asia is a heavily guarded peninsula. There is a biblical mountain there where Moses gained the Ten Commandments. I climbed that mountain early before sunrise. Upon reaching the top, I watched the sunrise and cracked open a beer I carried with me. Surprisingly refreshing.

Finding a stone circle in Ireland after searching back roads for hours. Finally found it in the middle of Irish farm land. As I walked a path towards the stone circle the Irish rain beat down what seemed to be incrementally heavier rain. I turn where the path winds to see a large opening and the circle. I swear as I walked to it, the clouds parted and the sun shined for a few moments in a way I doubt I'll ever witness again. If I were more spiritual, that would have been a pinnacle moment for me... Hell, still sort of is.
