About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Moving to Hawaii in November

ABOUT ME

Well first of all, I feel really awkward filling out profiles.

But I'd describe myself as a really laid back, happy person who really likes to laugh, and eat good food, and listen to music, good or bad. I'm very honest, and I'm nice. I may have a kind of crass sense of humor; yet couth. I don't know what to tell you really, other than I like to have a good time, mean well by everyone, and really enjoy the company of good natured, genuine people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I haven't really seen that many movies, and I really don't know anything about any actors or actresses. Yeah, I'm pretty inept in that pop cultural arena.

But I do looove the music. I could go on for a while about it. I'd say I really like the very best and very worst of pretty much everything.
I really like disco, soul, blues (20s- late 60s), late 90s soul and r&b, rap and hip hop, 70s and 80s punk, freedom rock, british rock, early 90s euro dance, 60s and 70s country, brass bands, 80s goth and industrial, metal, stoner rock, dub step, reggae, all of it and poppy electric bands.

And I read. I really like non-fiction and instructional handbooks, field guides, and novels that make you think.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Uhm, well, this is kind of strange to put on here I think, but whatever. This one time I broke my neck wrestling in a spacewalk (bouncy castle, moon walk, call it what you will). Anyway, about that, I have to say that it was probably one of the most eye opening experiences ever, I got a whole lot of perspective. I think it taught me that living life for each and every second is totally paramount, because the next second is really the only one you're ever guaranteed. And also, all you should ever be is yourself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook, and I'm a pretty good adventure buddy.

Right now I'm trying to get my scuba certification. I'm working towards being an underwater archaeologist. But I love picking up random skills, especially ones involving artistic craft and outdoor survival.
