Drink life like a camel that just crossed the largest desert on planet earth!
I sometimes feel like a shark, if I stop moving I'll sink. (I don't tend to bite people, so don't worry!) Depending on where I'm going, I like to travel in a suit, it makes me feel sophisticated. I have a unreasonably long list of exotic cities I want to live in when I figure out a way how. Among the top ten would have to be Berlin, Sao Paolo, Beijing and Seattle. I love to cook, and generally stick to vegan fares.
Live like a panda.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been enjoying myself tremendously since moving into charm city. I know a lot of good venues for art and music, (as well as some other stranger things) and would gladly show you around. I would love to grab a coffee with anyone traveling through town and is looking for a friend. I've got a one room apt. with the world's smallest kitchen but you'd welcome to stay for a while.
Just joined! Hopefully I'll have some soon.
Biking around the city is a favorite passtime of mine. I also love music and art, so I indulge in local acts as much as possible. I like to stay healthy so I do a lot of yoga and try to eat vegan. But, I also like to drink... I love to cook, and I find sewing very relaxing. If you couldn't tell from my photos, traveling is a great passion of mine and I do it whenever possible. Above all else, meeting people and making new friends is my favorite activity.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love Japanese films- Kurosawa, Ozu, Shimizu, and above all else Katsuhito Ishii. I'm also into french new wave, and silent films- I really like all sorts of films though.
I dig jazz. Ella Fitzgerald is my queen! I've got a broad palate though, and listen to all sorts of stuff. Above all else, I love live music.
If I'm going on a trip, I always take my book of W.B. Yeats poems with me. I haven't read a book purely for pleasure in a while, I'm usually swamped with reading for school.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not good at much. I love to play music, ride bikes, cook, sew amongst other things. I'm alright at fixing bikes, and have a little knowledge with cars. I can also do CPR, but I hope it doesn't come to that...
