Live as if you own the world, not as if the world owns you

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I hope to be able to meet other couchsurfers in Brazil to explore my new city, Rio de Janeiro, together. I try to help by showing others around my city or meeting up with travelers and sharing experiences and exchanging cultural ideas. In the future I hope to be able to host fellow couchsurfers to extend the couchsurfing network in my city.
My first CouchSurfing experience was traveling through out my country, the Southern Part of Mexico, where my first CouchSurfing host was Alan Castillo
Second experience was my EuroTrip2010… where I visited 11 countries in 3 months all done through CouchSurfing. (CouchSurfers in Europe were amazing!)
My most recent experience with CouchSurfing was in Brazil. I traveled through out the major states of Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná and Minas Gerais and met some very cool Brazilians.
Too many things interest me. I can look at the simplest thing and it would bring interest to find out everything about it. But to be more specific Photography is something that I have recently gained interest in. I don't want to become a photographer but it would be nice to have the same skills, in the mean time I will have to survive with my digital camera. I love trying foods from different countries and learning new languages or at least trying to understand them. As far as Art goes I love it. I'm not about the aesthetics of a piece of art but instead I like to admire on how it was created and the purpose of the piece.

"Through couchsurfing we have made it possible for anyone to be able to travel, who otherwise could never do it, and now we can give these people the chance to go to places they would never imagine. I want to be able to help them by any means possible whether it is by offering them a place to sleep in or simply keeping them company in an unknown city. Giving others this couchsurfing experience can give me hope of one day seeing complete strangers helping each other with maybe a simple ride to work" by Pedro Novais CS from Faro, Portugal
