About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Attend every Olympics for the rest of my life

ABOUT ME

I was birthed 2 days prior the ides of March to humble proletariat immigra--ok that's enough of that.

I'm not good with these questions.

PHILOSOPHY

Procrastinate, procrastinate, procrastinate. Life's too short to spend two minutes filling out that incredibly important document.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted two Swiss graduate students who were transferring to UC Berkeley and needed a place to stay while they searched for an apartment.

I also hosted an older fellow last minute when his couch surfing host cancelled on him.

Both of these were under my roommate's profile but I swear they happened!

Music, Movies & Books

Just bought dozens and dozens of used science fiction books. Trying to plow through them before I inevitably get sick of science fiction.

I like all kinds of movies, but especially really deep, artsy films that don't necessarily mean anything until you dissect them for every metaphor they're worth. But I also love ridiculous comedies and bad horror films with tons of gore.

My music tastes are complicated. I love "classical music," by which I specifically mean romantic-era and on, most baroque stuff, and some classical-era stuff. I also love 80s music and I firmly believe I was born in the wrong decade, except that I also really like 90s music. Disco is cool too. But I also like modern electronica indy-ish music like MGMT. But my favorite band of all time is Sigur Ros--an Icelandic post-rock group that sing half their music in a made-up language.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Went to Shanghai, China with my brother after winning tickets on a game show. Made me realize that I don't want to spend my days living in and experiencing the same 300 square miles of Earth day-in, day-out. I need to travel.

Countries I've Visited

Australia, China, Mexico, New Zealand

Countries I've Lived In
