Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While riding an old one-speed bike around Italy when I was 20, I met a jazz singer on a beach in Taranto. When I told him I planned on sleeping there, he warned me about vandals and invited me back to his house. I had a delicious meal with his family, slept on his couch, and rode off with a smile in my heart the next day.
