About Me

My name is Artur I am German, but was born in Kazakhstan. My family and I moved to Germany, when I was two years old, where we moved a lot around. My parents finally settled in Bielefeld, where I spent my adolescence until I started university in first Paderborn and then Münster. Nonetheless, Germany has proven to feel to small for me and I crave to travel and see new parts of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being new to the Couchsurfing community I have not yet had the chance to host myself. However, once back home, I would love to return the kindness and hospitality I experienced.

I have a huge interest for music and spend many hours a day not only listening to, but also producing it and playing an array of instruments. amongst others the piano, percussion, guitar and the bass guitar. I also enjoy any kind of sports, especially football (soccer, for you Americans out there), swimming and martial arts. The pinnacle for me in life, however, is spending time with lovely people and eating fantastic food.
