ABOUT ME

I am a small person who lives big. The more i see the more I want to see and the more I know, the more I know how little I know. I seek balance, physically and mentally, love to laugh and live for adventure. My favorite color is currently either blue or yellow and I believe that taking the time to eat good food slowly with interesting people is important for ones health:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am a surfer as I participate in a few curatorial residencies and internships before going into my masters degree. However, very soon I will be taking up official residence in Paris and am excited to host with my boyfriend who equally loves meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had two: one with someone I met through the site who turned out to be a wonderful hostess and really offered amazing resources in terms of really offering her guests all the deets on how to get around her city. The other I met randomly through traveling (though they are on here) as we passed each other at a hosts house; they had incredible adventure stories to share. I have had many experiences like that and truly feel the world is still filled with lots of great people.

I have read all sorts of books but have to admit I love a good autobiography. However, favorites do include everything from Henry Miller to International business policy to Pablo Neruda. I like all music except maybe some new rap... but if there are interesting lyrics I will listen to pretty much anything. Besides listening to Wolf Parade, Arcade Fire, K'naan, Zack Wild and the Gypsy Kings I also love going to the Opera.
Movies ... well my whole family is in the film business so i have seen a lot of really great 'small' films. I am not so good with names so conversations about music and movies usually lead to me humming or making "that guy" references.. off the top of my head, things you may have heard of: Top Gun, 16 Candles, Roman Holiday, March of the Penguins, Up, That movie about that musician...
