I am new, and just heard about the project while currently on my travels this summer. However, I am excited to participate by opening up my home and city to travelers far and near upon my return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Newbie, but I have been staying with a new friend in Amsterdam for last week whose opened my eyes to a great new way to experience traveling and meeting cool people.
