About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring the world outside the traditional 9-5 grind

ABOUT ME

I'm a recent graduate who realized in my last year of studies that international politics is not for me, so I'm using my time now to travel, meet new people, explore new options, and most importantly discover what's important to me.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to do anything you don't want to be doing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a new member in the CS community. I've couched surfed once before in Grenoble, France, and it was such an excellent way to visit the city, that I wanted to do it more. As I'm travelling now, it's difficult to host people, but once I'm settled down, I would love to take more initiatives to expand on the program.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent 3 days in Grenoble with 2 other friends. The hosts were extremely kind French university students, who took us to dinner, showed us around the city, and gave us all kinds of advice. It was a lovely experience.

Interests

Music, cafes, wandering around cities, beaches, being outdoors, reading, eating and cooking, animals, especially black cows, Pierre, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Brief Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao, the Avett Brothers, Iron & Wine, classic American/Brit rock, Tiken Jah, Arrested Development, Curb your Enthusiasm, Little Miss Sunshine, Wizard of Oz...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossed the Bay of Mont Saint Michel in France. The journey is only about 5 kilometers, but it's a flooded bay full of quicksand, and all the while the backdrop is the amazing Mont Saint Michel, a cathedral perched on a small island in the middle of the English Channel.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: a bit of cooking, yoga, French language, how to thin and pick peach and nectarine trees!

Learn: art, music, any other languages
