I live in Iowa City, Iowa. My main project right now is building a tiny house with my partner, Paul, and volunteering at various organizations such as the Salvage Barn and the Women's Resource and Action Center. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2013. I like to garden, bike, hike, and pretty much all things outdoors, making stuff, reading graphic novels and manga, and playing board games.

I'm couchsurfing as I travel while on a budget, I guess that should be obvious, but philosophically, I think we all could do a little more sharing and meeting new people.

I'm not too picky about the music I listen to, but I do like playing music in a group the best.

I'm not a fan of most movies due to tired tropes and misrepresentation/lack of representation, nor can I sit still and I definitely cannot stay quiet the whole time. I prefer animated TV shows, such as Adventure Time, Bob's Burgers, Steven Universe, and Bee and Puppycat.

I used to read non-stop as a kid but college kinda killed my love of reading (damn textbooks) though i'm getting back into and have been reading a lot of graphic novels, comics, and manga.

It's still in progress, but we got from an empty trailer to a more than half-way done Tiny House in the span of 1 year, or less counting a two month break during the winter, with usually only two of us working on it about 30 hrs a week.

Enthusiasm for manual labor, experience with cooking, DIYing, gardening, carpentry, arts/crafts. We can play theater games if there's enough of us, or do an abbreviated bystander intervention training ! I've also been told I'm great at listening, I do love stories.
