ABOUT ME
Hey Zusammen! Hey you guys!
Ich heiße Austin und komme aus den USA. Ich habe dieses Jahr in Bremen studiert. aber bevor ich zurück nach den USA fliege, möchte ich eine 2 Woche Süddeutschlandtour.
Name's Austin and I'm from the US. For the last year I've been studying in Bremen, Germany. I'm almost finished here, and before I go back I'd like to try and see as much of Germany as possible so I'm doing a short tour through southern Germany.
I studied music education and have already gotten my education certificate. I came to Germany to broaden my horizons and I'd like to think that I certainly have.
PHILOSOPHY
So corny, but totally applies to everything. Hasn't let me down:
Everything happens for a reason.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been signed up for about a year, but I haven't participated at all. I'm changing that now. ^_^
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had any personal experience yet, but I keep hearing from friends that it's amazing!! (and cheap, don't forget that part.)
Interests
Hmm, well, obviously I like to travel. :-p
I'm a fan of playing games (video and board), reading, playing/listening to music, the occasional museum here and there, and I spend a lot of time on Reddit.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love me some Tim Burton and Hayao Miyazaki.
Favorite band right now is probably the Wise Guys.
Books. I've started reason the Sigma Series, but of course I love LOTR and Harry Potter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once walked 17 miles along a mountain ridge in one day just to prove to myself that I could do it. It was amazing. The state of Washington is such a beautiful place. I was able to see Mt. Olympus on the hike. Totally recommend Olympic National Park.

Culture, man. It's all about the culture.
