I´m a german student, which decied to take a little break from university and start to learn things about life while traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to meet new people in a way which is not possible in hostels. I enjoy hearing and telling storys and also sharing is a wonderfull thing. Of course you can have all this things in hostels but its most of the time very superficial and I want to learn a bit more about the people who life here in New Zealand.
And to be honest, it´s cheap, so I can safe a bit money while meeting people. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love Metal but I also listen to rock, punk, classic, moviesoundtracks and other pieces of music and I´m always in the mood to try something new.

Movies: That might sound like a stereotype for a traveling person but I think my favourite movie is "Into the wild"

Books: I think one of my favourites are a bookseries from the german author Walter Moers, who wrote the "Zarmonien Romane" (=Zarmonian Novels?). They are even in Germany not that well known so you probably might not know them (but they are absolutely awesome).

Teach, Learn, Share

I don´t know if there is a speceal thing which I coud teach... besides the german language, but since NZ is crowded with germans, I don´t know if this is a point of interest for you.
So I might be a little bit too young to teach something but I really appreciate it, when I can learn something new.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well... storys like the most of the backpackers, discussions (if you can share such a thing) and my personal "awarenes" about things in life.
I also can cook a bit but I´m not a chef so you won´t die because of my food but it also might not be the greatest meal in your entire life.
I like to cook with other people so if you are in the mood to share some cooking wisdom and recipes by doing, I´m glad to assist you.
