About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding the next opportunity that will get my heart racing!

ABOUT ME

I am a creative. I love to encourage people to say and act as they feel at any particular moment. I have a BA in Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University and my favorite thing I learned while studying design is how to look at the world we inhabit. I am very optimistic and always excited for a new experience.

PHILOSOPHY

It's better to regret something you did, then something you didn't do.

Music, Movies, and Books

Red Hot Chili Peppers. Soooooo many other influences I could write here too, but if you really wanna know who I am.... it's all in the philosophy of RHCP.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Led a team of cyclists from Seattle, WA to Washington D.C. on behalf of people with disabilities. Led a team of men to 6 different summer camps across the USA building playgrounds for children with disabilities. Lived in Barcelona, Spain and studied the amazing architectural work of Antoni Gauid. Worked with KaBOOM! a non-profit organization whose mission statement is, "...to construct a playground within walking distance of every child in America." I helped to manage the building of 11 different playgrounds in 11 different cities.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love the fact that each and every person I meet is better than me at something! There is some form of expertise that everyone has more experience in than me, and I am so thrilled with the opportunity to learn anything from anyone who is willing to share.
