About Me

Travel around the world. Preparing, Preparing, Preparing.

I am an outgoing, adventurous and fun person. I survive this world by trying my best to enjoy every moment of it. Though that doesn't always happen. :D For my friends they see me as a bit crazy and wild, yet, they still stay as my friends, so I believe I have to have done something right!
I am not sure what to write here, I am a student at UofT, I do Equity Studies and other stuff that interest me. I love education and hate schooling. I try to do stuff out of the box, or at least that's what I think.

Through my experiences and also watching a lot of Mini Cooper commercials, I believe that "Normal is Good, but Never Great!" (read it with a British accent!)

Enjoy and live life! I don't ask or hope for everyone to agree with me, and hope that never ever happens. However, I do truly believe anyone and everyone should be respected regardless of their philosophy and ways they approach matters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

*My floor is your floor, my couch is your couch, my bed is your bed, my bathroom is your bathroom. MY FOOD is My FOOD, but I LOVE to SHARE it! Also whatever else you need that I can offer, please never hesitate to ask!* As long as you don't mind that my place is messy from time to time.

I actually cannot remember where I learn CS from. All I can remember is that it has been on my mind for a long long time and in 2012 I finally to joined this amazing community.

I have crashed enough couches and hosted a lot of friends that I cannot keep track of. However, actually up till today I have yet to host or surf on any couches from CS. I am looking forward to it! Hopefully I can very soon!

One of the best couches I ever crashed was in Tanzania, a friend and I were travelling from Kigali to Moshi, we got stuck at Kahama. With barely enough money to get to Moshi we couldn't afford to stay anywhere. When we thought sleeping on the street or bus station was the only option. A passenger that were on the bus with us offered us to stay with him without us asking. He took us in, took us around town, cooked us one of the simplest yet best meal I ever had. At the end not only did he offered us his couch he insisted that we should take his room, where the only air condition was. Being shoestring backpackers we were, we took our place on the couch. That night we were bombed by mosquito and showered with our sweat. Yet, it was one of the best couchsurfing memories I ever had and I believe it might be one of the best I will ever have.

I am interested in just way too many things! I cannot really single out just one or a few of them. Let's say that I am interested in anything that allows me to enjoy and engage with this world!

  • education

Music, Movies, and Books

This might be one of the hardest section to fill in. I am a HUGE movie person, I cannot LIVE without music, if I don't HAVE a book with me I cannot walk straight. :P One of my dream is to travel to places in the movies, songs and books, then watch the movie, listen to the song and read the book at that very place. :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Alright I lied, this section is even harder than the Movies, Music, Books section. LIFE IS AMAZING!!! I am not sure what to single out. I actually thought about it for days!

Listening to my parents travelling stories when they were in their teens!

Sitting under a cloudless and moonless dark sky at Wadi Rum was one of the most memorable experiences. It was calming and humbling. Then encountering one of the biggest sand storms that ever hit Jordan when I was inside Petra with three of the randomest people that I just met was just exciting!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not sure what I can offer as for teaching. :D I do speak three point five languages. I am definitely willing to teach if it is desired. :D I am also a licensed swimming instructor and lifeguard, so I guess I can teach water safety. :D Oh! Also I am super YOLO so maybe we can exchange some of those experiences. :P As for learning, I am even more speechless bout it. I want to learn everything! Anything you are willing to teach I am eager to learn, from how to tie a shoelace in a fancy way to how to dive down from ISS (if that's possible). I am super talkative so I will share everything I know as long as you are interested. I can also be an active listener and listen to any story you have to offer. I am sure I will fall in love with all those stories.
