I am 26, and have been wandering around Australia living out of my camper van for the last year or so, learning about permaculture, sustainable housing, alternative living, foraging, farming and all sorts inbetween.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm interested in learning about the places but most especially the people who live in the places i visit and adventure to.

COUCH SURFING EXPERIENCE

i personally have never done Couch surfing but by a random bit of fate i ended up hosting a couch surfer from America for a few days in my home in Denmark Western Australia. i found it to be a great experience, learning about someone else's culture and getting to play tour guide, being able to provide a different experience and seeing past all the touristy things.

Music, Movies, and Books

sci-fi and fantasy are my kinda books, i like the idea of exploring a unknown realm and experiencing someones incredible imagination, also fantasy/history kind of books that put a fantasy twist on history; historical fiction i guess you'd call it.

i like adventure, travel, romance, drama, documentaries and Disney movies .

music- well i dont know a lot about music and i never know what everyone else is listening to but if im listening to something that makes me feel good or i can at least hear the lyrics if there are any then im pretty happy. my favorite band ever would have to be a 90's trance group called Deep Forest, but i mostly listen to country/folk music.
i have the utmost respect for anyone who can play an instrument, ill keep struggling along in the corner believing wholeheartedly that one day ill get it. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i went to New Zealand for the first time, where i met some very beautiful and inspiring people on a rural property we were camping on whilst participating in a natural house build there. These gorgeous people opened my eyes even further and gave me a sense of belonging; i found my people and they are loving, kind, honest. They taught me that there is a wonderful world that we are all a part of and to get out and live life.
