About Me
Hello everybody! My name is Aylen and nowadays I am travelling with my boyfriend, Santiago (also from Argentina), around Asia. Before these we have been living for a while in New Zealand.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My boyfriend and I are on couchsurfing because we would like to get to know better the people of the countries we are travelling to and also their culture. We think that the best way of doing this is by talking with people and we would also like to share our culture with the rest of the world.
Interests
Aylen: I am interested in reading books, travelling, listening to music, meeting people, photography, learning languages and sharing a good coffee with my family.
Santiago: San Lorenzo de Almagro football club , politics, history, riding my bike, spending time in open areas, drinking mate and sharing an Argentinean barbeque with my family.

Music, Movies, and Books
Aylen: I like mostly international rock, like Oasis, Red hot chili peppers, Arctic monkeys, etc.
I like watching movies so I can watch lots of genres. For example I liked La Vita è Bella, Big fish, The great Gatsby, Cath me if you can, The Lord of the rings, etc.
Talking about books I can't avoid mentioning that when I was younger I loved Harry Potter. I like The Aleph by Jorge Luis Borges. While I was in Vietnam the last book I read is Last night I dreamed of peace by Dang Thuy Tram.
Santiago:
Music: I prefer argentinean rock (Charly Garcia, Leon gieco).
Some films I like: Diagnostico Esperanza, Iluminados por el Fuego, Elefante Blanco, infancia clandestina, El secreto de sus ojos.
Books: history ones and I avoid those books related with business, Taylor & Ford!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing we have done is leaving our house, family, jobs and friends to experience new things such as living in a foreign country and then travelling for some months.
Teach, Learn, Share
First of all, we are open to teach, learn and share lots of things. Having travelled this last year had made us look forward to learning new things! We think that now we are more open minded than before.
We can also share our typical drink called "Mate" and of course teaching how to prepare a good Mate.
We can tell you about the countries we have visited these last months and also all we know about our beloved country, Argentina.
