Overview
About Me
I am an artist exploring my own city!
Born in Observatory, Cape Town, and growing up in the suburbs, I always had a strong desire to travel the other parts of the world- but soon realized that there is so much magic and beauty in my own city and country.
I have spent the last 3 years becoming very closely acquainted with the streets of the CBD, as well as the highways leading to Namaqualand, Gauteng, Mpumalanga and the Garden Route.
I have fallen in love with documenting and expressing what it is like being a young South African exploring the mother country- before and after the pandemic, especially.
My passion for music and journalism is what leads me to each place I go to, and I would love to share my journey with you as well.
The journey through the outside world is very closely tied to my journey into the inside world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am currently embracing the gypsy/nomadic lifestyle- which means travelling lightly and not being too attached to my living spaces. I would love to instead immerse myself in the experience of staying with other interesting individuals who live a different kind of life, with stories of their own.
I would love to offer my hand in the kitchen, as well as music and other entertainment, as I love learning the different types of community and find it so fulfilling to give back in terms of energy exchange, that is not limited to an exchange of money.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is extremely vast but I love jazz, blues, latin american, spanish guitar, and beautifully thought out verses along with melancholic notes.
I myself am a singer/songwriter and love creating and developing mantras that help you relax and connect with your spirit.
I love sexy and vintage foreign films, and the occasional Tim Burton film.
My favorite book is The Rocky Horror Tantra book by Sw. Rahasya.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Brought a raucous bar to a calm stand still as I lulled them into calm during my first public performance of a song I had written 30 mins prior.
