ABOUT ME

I'm a fun-loving, easy-going girl who gets along well with mostly everyone. I love to challenge myself and push my boundaries. My friends call me half hippie (I'm a giant Beatles fanatic), half hip-hop (living in Chicago for so many years will make you a little edgy). Open-minded and very passionate about meeting as many new people and seeing as many new things as possible- I believe that's what really makes you live a rich life.

Intereses

I'm professionally a Speech-Language Pathologist because I love hearing/sharing stories with others, am a people person, and think communication is one of the key things in life. However, I am also a hip-hop dancer (I've been working for a DJ company for 8 years now), and work in a hostel in Chicago leading walking tours and pub crawls and such. (If I can't be travelling, that kind of fills my international experiences void, ha).

Hard to pick a few, but mountain biking Death Road in Bolivia was definitely memorable. (You start at 4600 m in the Andes at the beginning of the day, where it's snowing and your hands are too numb to feel the brakes on the bike, and end at 1,000 m at the end of the day in the Amazon jungle, where you go swimming in a pool). Also loved sliding down natural rocks into waterfalls on my bum in Paraty, Brazil.
