About Me

ABOUT ME

They would say that Tosh is an awesome friend to have. That whatever is going on he will make the time to support someone in need. That he has a strong sense of family and tribe. That he is a very silly person, who likes to laugh and tell jokes."Its so strange to talk about myself from this perspective."That he loves transformation and spirituality and poetry with equal fervor. That he is his word, cleans up his messes, and creates safety for anyone in his presence. That being grounded in the now, and loving people are really important for him.

Interests

I have been a martial arts teacher for over 17 years,Kung-fu,Tai-Chi,Chi-gung,reality based Self-defense,these things are both Art,Science, expression, and a path of consciousness for me. I'm still as geeked out about it as when i was five years old and running around after watching my first Bruce Lee movie. That love, that passion lives in my everyday life as I teach people and expand my personal practice. I love being with people and listening to whats going on in their lives, really getting a picture into a whole world.
I love learning things about the nature of reality, which to me cannot only be grasped by my own point of view, no matter how expansive. I'm also fascinated by recent openings around combining new science in random with ancient and esoteric practices.
I also, like to hang out and talk about nothing. I also Love playing dungeons and dragons , with my two sons, ages 14 and 12.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Without Hesitation the first would be the birth of my children, the power, the life coming into this world.Holding the tiny body in your forearm.I swear, they shine, like the soul is bursting out. You just see all the life this little person is going to have.It is a deep human moment old as dirt.
Second would have to be doing the four day Lakota ritual prayer for seven generation of children, called the Sundance. You dance for four days with no food or water. the power of the songs and the sacrifice and courage of my fellow dancers was beyond description. It was a great honor, and strangely a hell of a good time.

last I would say, watching the sun rise at burning-man in 2000, my first year. I felt a moment of divine peace and love that will never leave me. that was when I knew I would spend the rest of my life helping people.
