I just move to Berlin 3 month ago, I'm currently trying to find time to fixe the place I just got. Between working as a waiter and building my place, I'm studying german and sound technics by myself.
As soon as my place is done, I'll be able to move forward a 7 month old project that to build an acousmonium (that's a way to diffuse music in 3D through something like 40 speakers, mainly electroacoustic music but also whatever we'd like to)
That's a tricky one!.. One part is based on the idea of when you make a choice you're always doing the best one regarding the situation, so even though this choice turns out bad to not regret it knowing that you did the best you could. But that does not take away the idea of learning about what happened. This really means never regret any action you ever did or will do. That is silly expressed this way but I'm neither a philosophy student nor a writer! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Being around, participating to event, offering my place when I got one of my own or big enough.
I go to couch-surfing parties once in a while enjoying meeting people from all over the world. I host one person once, we spent a great time together. But more to come ...
At the centre I would put acoustics but soon it'll become more than just interest. I would specify room acoustic so far.
Music obviously but it will be developped further.
I'm interested in people in general, because we are a lot alike (Well, I think...) I mean interest based on learning about them/us might help myself.
Music, Movies, and Books
In music I love especially experimental music and concrete music most of all.
If I had to give some name then it would be Kerta von Kubin and Bacchus Blake (and their band Hammerschlaegen), Genesis P-orridge (and his band Psychic TV), The Residents (I can't say the names of the musician 'cause nobody knows) and Blixa bargeld ( from Einsturzende Neubauten)
I would also add some minimalist like Steve Reich or Terry riley
Then to finish Frank Zappa and Brian Eno.
About film I love so many but I'm no expert so there is not a genre I liked more than another. Just films from here and there that now and then arrive in my life by pure coincidence.
