ABOUT ME

That I love being outdoors, hiking, exploring, geocaching. I homeschool my kids so we love to try new things. I speak a little Chinese so that's fun, we are adopting from two other countries! I love people and I love doing service for others.

PHILOSOPHY

People are more important than things. Childhood is a beautiful time and I'm trying to preserve it for my kids. I love people! Doing service for others is priceless!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am available for meeting up around town or whatever, going on hikes when weather permits. That sort of thing. Our house is tiny and we are preparing to move so it's not a good time to host.

None! I'm brand new!

Interests

Hiking! Yoga! I'm a yoga teacher, a doula, a Reiki Master, energy therapist, herbalist... Total Hippie chick! I love learning new things and meeting fun people. I want to learn to play many instruments, currently working on the guitar (poorly).

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer old music to new music. I am a movie addict, but I never see anything when it's new on the market. It's too expensive! I rely on Netflix to catch me up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving on the California coast. Amazing.

Hiking in Hawaii was beautiful. I loved snorkeling and seeing all the bright fish.

I spent a month living at an ashram to become a yoga teacher. Beautiful use of time.

And of course, my children, the lights of my life! Having them was amazing for me.

I teach yoga, I teach Reiki, I am a doula, I make hair bows sometimes, I make a mean green smoothie...

I want to learn guitar, outdoor survival skills, anything awesome.
