ABOUT ME

A fan of small towns I got educated in Platteville, WI...earned a degree in Environmental Engineering while president of a student peace group. Following college I served two years in AmeriCorps and spent one year living at the old hippie commune called "The Farm". I've led volunteers carrying chainsaws through the woods, kayaked beautiful island waters, built dwellings with straw and mud and organized community events critical of war...to name a few things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Looking to utilize CS as a means of traveling outside the highway corridors and to meet those people I share this country with. How many of us just buzz right past on the roads, hide in hotels and stare at the those boring pictures? Bah.
