Music, Movies, and Books

Baroque music, including hispanoamerican (musica virrenal), all kind of lute music, my own arrangements for the theorbo, baroque guitar and renaissance guitar and i like to listen almost all styles of music...
In the winter season i repair harpsichords/spinetti.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Best experiences with long term stays at private accommodations in several countries.
Hiking in the Altiplano de México, about 350 km on foot at each of the 15 journeys, became my favourite, including meeting so many kind and helpful people (ok, i have no experiences at places of mass tourism!!).
Mexican street food and Cabrito al pastor, an Asado in Argentina, rakot kélkaposzta in Hungary, the Cocinas Populares at markets in Bolivia i will never miss if there is any opportunity.
Getting support by two Mineros in the Mountains of Bolivia as our car lost cooling water at 4000 m and 120 km distance to any next village. One of them did run strait downhill about 300 m, and after a second attempt he really returned with spring water, enough to continue driving for several kilometres, where he showed us a water tap at a ruined hut, providing enough water to reach our common destination, but there they asked, how much they have to pay for the transfer (???) - this made me speechless and pretty close to tears.

Teach, Learn, Share

Entertainment or teaching music (Theorbo, Baroque Guitar, Vihuela, Guitar), how to play baroque improvisations, training German pronunciation.
You may try a harpsichord, spinetto and other baroque instruments.
Enjoying "exotic" dishes ;-)) .
I should improve my Spanish...!!
