ABOUT ME

I'm Bart, 19yo and live on the west coast of The Netherlands (west of Amsterdam, basically).
I finished high school, spent a year going to uni to become an English teacher but decided to drop it due to my personal lack of motivation and interest. Right now I spend tuesday-friday working for a wholesale company that deals in painting, DIY and bathroom accesoires (basically, all things related to painting but paints, all things related to your bathroom except for toilets). Apart from that I sit around playing guitar (picked up classical guitar 2 months ago and have been working on Albeniz' Asturias recently), drawing or reading up on random stuff on the internet.

I'm soon to become a certified archery instructor and have been giving demos and instruction at festivals, events and fairs since summer '05 now.

PHILOSOPHY

I live following my own Ouroboros concept. Everything is ever-lasting. You can't just die, then disappear in a black void.
Live life the best you can, it's all about right now, right here, and where you're going to be tomorrow. Yesterday is the past. I don't do regrets, there's no use in pondering endlessly about something that happened in the past. What has been done, is done.

Music - Nearly anything. A lot of metal. 70's/early 80's hard rock. Strange electro. Ambient. Bombastic classical. Film soundtracks.

Movies - Most animated movies. Spaghetti westerns (Sergio Leone was THE man!), Ingmar Bergman movies. James Bond. Adventures.

Books - De Donkere Kamer Van Damokles (brilliant Dutch piece of literature), not much more I can remember. Been ages since I read a good book!
