My name is Natasha and I am a registered nurse by day and a screenwriter at night. I love traveling and meeting new people. I appreciate culture and diversity and I am always curious about the experiences of others. I am quiet, clean, and respectful, but I also love to socialize. I am also a musician, I sing, play guitar, and piano in my free time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to transition to Los Angelos to start my new career in the film industry and wanting to meet new people. I am looking for a short term stay. I have a new job position out in the area, and I have been accepted into a mentorship film program specifically for women. My hope is someone will open their home for me while I am in the midst of this transition, to find the opportunity to network, and make friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love hip-hop, electronic, indie folk, bluegrass, opera/classical, new age, dream pop, shoegaze, etc.

My favorite movie is Wings of Desire by Win Wenders, I also love his other films such as The Million Dollar Hotel, Until the End of the World. I am also a big Jim Jarmusch fan, I love all of his films. The Godfather, Little Miss Sunshine, Shawshank Redemption, Alfred Hitchock films, and so so many more, I could go on forever. I love many of the old classic films as well, the old Twilight Zone series, and many television series.

Books I have enjoyed are by authors Franz Kafka, Kurt Vonnegut, Ernest Hemmingway, writings by Allen Ginsberg, Ken Kesey, Hermann Hesse, and many more.
