ABOUT ME

I'm a hodgepodge of the things I like (cycling, post-punk, freshly baked bread, Critical Theory), the things I don't (ideology, repression, burnt crepes), and everything in between.

I'm a autodidactic philosopher, an amateur mycologist, an urban cyclist, and down for just about anything.

I'm spending my summer this year riding my bike from Jacksonville, Florida to Monterrey California with Bike and Build in order to raise money and awareness to combat the affordable housing crisis.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm down with pluralism, deconstruction, existentialism,
Embrace what we wouldn't normally do, collapse the dialectical by embodying the opposing side even for a moment.
Do it big.

Interests

Critical Theory-Deleuze, Derrida, Adorno, Schmitt, Nietzsche, Heidegger, Bataille, etc. More than reading it I love discussing it, I used to be a part of a CEDA policy debate team and its left me with a lifelong love for discussion.

I'm an avid cyclist, its basically my primary mode of transportation (by choice), I really don't like driving anymore. I'm always down to talk shop on the newest cranksets, to busk it up around the city, or to lend you some tools so we can hit up the next hole in the wall bar.

Cooking! I like to think of myself as an amateur boulangerie. I definitely spend alot of my paycheck on new and interesting recipes, chances are given the chance and the ingredients I'll make a new friend with a meal.

I don't like to limit myself, I'm a big pluralist and I'll be down for just about anything. Call it voyeurism, call it adventurous, I call it fun.
