ABOUT ME

I really like to meet people from everywhere and make new friends. Through all of my travels I've been really lucky to make great friends and hang out with some very cool folks. I love getting off the beaten path, going hiking, biking, checking out an out of the way destination. I learned French through studies and living in French-speaking countries, and a lot of Portuguese just through some awesome Brazilian friends in Brazil. I love to cook for folks, or just share a beer and talk about life. There is a lot to discover out there

I have hosted a lot of people in a short time and taken part in various CS events. I have also surfed a few couches and in the process met some really cool people. I look forward to making new friends across the globe and again meeting the ones I've already met. Love you all!

Little pleases me more than to be in a foreign country hanging with the locals. Sure, I enjoy the tourist sites like everybody else, but at the end of the day, I want to be in a neighborhood where the locals eat, drink and make merry. In February 2011, I began a 3-year journey around the world. I sold everything I owned and gave up my apartment to embark on this journey. Let's see where it all leads :) If I send you a couch request it is because I truly want to meet you. It is because I look forward to spending time with you. It is because I believe we can gain and learn from each other and maybe even build a friendship.
I am a pretty easy going guy, able to shift gears, no sweat, and love fun and adventure. I don't let the little things in life bother me, and don't have time for unnecessary drama. Vita Brevis - life is too short!
So let's hang in harmony, peace and love! :)

Poco me satisface más que estar en un país extranjero colgando con los locales. Claro, me gusta los sitios turísticos como todo el mundo, pero al final del día, quiero estar en un barrio donde la gente del lugar comen, beben y se divierten. En Febrero de 2011, comenze un viaje mundial de 3 años. Vendí todo lo que tenía y deje a mi apartamento para embarcarme en este viaje. Vamos a ver dónde me lleva esta decision :)
Si te envío una petición para tu sofá es porque realmente quiero conocerte. Es porque espero poder pasar tiempo contigo. Es porque creo que podemos ganar y aprender unos de otros e incluso construir una amistad.
Yo soy un tipo bastante fácil, capaz de cambiar de marcha sin problema, y amo la aventura. No dejo que las cosas pequeñas de la vida me moleste, y no tengo tiempo para la drama innecesaria. Vita Brevis - la vida es demasiado corta!
Así que vamos a colgar en armonía, paz y amor! :)
