About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to make positive change, ferment stuff, and I really want to sheer a sheep.

ABOUT ME

I'm a big city refugee, having fled the great (upward) expanses of NYC for the smaller, slower style of Olympia, WA... basically on a slightly premeditated whim. Since then I've gotten really into big trees and moss and other of that nature-stuffs. I really want to travel around, and hang out with other folks in some different places filled with the nature-stuffs.

I signed up for CS about 5 years ago, but I've never utilized the resource until now. I'm hoping to test it out before I start some national and international adventuring.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked 30 miles up the coast on the Olympic Peninsula and found a porpoise skull on the way! It's my profile picture!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to cook. A lot. I don't do it as often as I really would enjoy, but I love plunking down a big old cookbook and tearing apart a recipe. In the last several years I've taught myself some fermenting, and am attempting at a garden, and got myself some chickens too. I'm learning about the bliss and hardwork of some urban homesteading, although I am just touching on some of the basics. I'd love to relearn and deepen these traditions!
