About Me

ABOUT ME

Hey Everyone!

I figured there's probably no one else on couchsurfing like me. Or I might be surprised. This seems like a cool, accepting community of people. I'm a fun, happy person who smiles a lot =) I love that about myself and if you meet me it will be something that will be immediately noticeable.
I'd like to start off by saying that I am Transgender, which is more the umbrella term. More specifically, I am a Crossdresser. I think this is very important for me to say since it is a big part of me. Also, it is something that a couchsurfer must know if I host them. You may see me as male or female if I host you. Also, sexuality and sexuality issues are something I am very interested in since I practically live it.
Also, I am currently a student enrolled in a Masters degree program.

Why am I on Couchsurfers?

I just decided to try it out. This is the first time I've ever had my own place and live alone to where I could actually host. I'd like to try it out and see how it goes and meet new people while creating new experiences.

When I go to new places, I take in different things as part of my experience. I'm not into sightseeing or doing or going to tourists things (museums, monuments, etc). I'm much more into nightlife, and more so 'sleeze' (so to speak ;) ). I also love meeting new people, currency (i'm very into other countries' money), and just being there and taking it all in. I love going to a bar and having a beer and striking conversations with new people.
Food isn't a big part of experiencing a new place for me. I basically use it to refuel, and only because I need to. In fact, one of my best friends jokingly said that she loves how I can go to foreign countries and just eat McDonalds. Like, seriously, it's so true. I am a staunch advocate for American fast food. It is the best food in the world! It is beverages I enjoy the most. When in a new place, I will be very interested in trying local beer, wines, or liquors. But keep my food American. It is the only thing I cannot compromise on.
I am very interested in governmental affairs, geography, day to day life in other countries, cost of living in other countries, and things like that. If you are from somewhere I am interested in, I will probably ask you these things. If I ask you how much you get paid and how much you pay in rent/bills in your home country, I'm not being nosy, really just interested in that.

PHILOSOPHY

Follow your dreams! That's how I got to where I am today.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you want me as your host, you contact me. The reason being is that if you contact me, I will know that you are ok with my lifestyle and it will not interfere with your experience nor will it create any awkward situations. I will not seek out surfers for that reason. I will respond and tell you whether or not I can host on that/those date(s).
I will try to respond to any request as quickly as I can. I have Android in my life so a quick response is possible.

I can provide a place to crash, some great conversation, and exchange crazy stories, but I don't cook. If you surf with me, you are welcome to use the kitchen.
Also, I'm not really into touristy things. The only place I really know is the square. I can take you there to look around or tell you how to get there. But anything other than that, you're on your own. Sorry, just not into sightseeing so much. I'm much more into nightlife. I can tell you how to get to touristy places and which trams and buses you can take. I know the public transportation very well here in Krakow.
My life is already cosmopolitan and a big cultural exchange; being an American and living in Poland. So I'm not really looking for that nor do I think I can really provide it. I will see you as a new person that I'm meeting.

Interests

I like meeting new people, going out to fun bars with friends, drinking (I used to go out and drink a LOT! but calmed down some), restaurants, traveling when I have the time and money, and simply being around people from other places. and I LOVE European guys! You guys are the best! That's a big part of my interest. ;)
As I get older, I find that I like to spend time at home. Sometimes I can't wait to return to my flat and just relax while surfing the net.
Topics I love to discuss: International relations (on more than one level *wink*), politics, travel, currency (this is a big one!), forex/currency exchange (wanting to learn this) sexuality and sexuality issues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first international flight. When the plane landed in Paris. It was an amazing feeling. And I called my friend who I was going to meet the following day and say "I'm in the Paris airport! wow!!!!". It was funny =)

When I was in the hostel I booked in Paris, I was talking to the person who worked there and I said "I can't believe I'm finally here!", and she pinched my arm and said "You're here!" LOL.
