About Me

Keep exploring Canada and Abroad without going bankrupt ;)

I've been described by many as a "hippie".. Although I'm not sure everyone has the same idea about that term, I think it does describe me well, minus the drugs and lack of hygiene some associate with it.

What I really mean is that I love nature, and exploring it by foot, up close. I am also very peaceful, can get lost in thought, and tend to be very warm and friendly once you get to know me.

I like laughing until I cry, going on spontaneous adventures, and seeing new and exciting things!

So far I've ventured to several places, but the highlight was definitely Costa Rica, where I volunteered for three weeks and lived with a local host family.

Just came back to Toronto from Thailand, where I was contributing to a human rights organisation and working on my honors thesis.

I intend to see as much of this world as I can, and I love hearing people's stories to get me inspired.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm still quite a newbie here... Only just had my first experience as a couchsurfing guest in Yangon, Myanmar, and was occasionally hosting guests in my humble home in Mae Sot, Thailand.

I enjoy talking about social issues, jogging, reading books, philosophizing, learning languages and making new friends.
