ABOUT ME

I'm an actress, singer, entrepreneur and a publicist. I studied at Universidad Católica Argentina and majored in Communication Studies. I'm the co-founder of a bookbinding entrepreneurship (Florence Livres www.florencelivres.com.ar) and I sing in a musical duet (Veintiséis). I´m currently part of an exchange program in Communication and Business at University of Washington, Seattle.

I have worked for the US Embassy as an intern for the Press Section (2013-2014) and also at Unilever for Public Affairs and Communication (2012-2013).

I really enjoy learning new languages and teaching spanish to whoever wants to.

I'm technically a dog person, although I fall in love with almost any animal you can come up with. But let's face it, dogs rule! I always wanted to be a vet or to work in a zoo, but I'm now looking forward to volunteering in animal shelters.

Because it's a great melting pot of world-citizens. Friendly people looking for friendly people. Everyone has something nice to give to this world and this is a perfect place to exhange it. The most realible proof that we are all connected to each other wether you live in Argentina or in Indonesia.

Music, Movies, and Books

I believe movies depend on each moment. There are times and companions for comedies and for thrillers too. But I have to admit I've watched The Parents Trap more than twenty times. And I'm also a fun of Musical Theater and musical movies.

Books? The Catcher in the Rye and To Kill a Mocking Bird were two books that had an impact on my teenage self. The Crucible and Pride and Prejudice are also on my bookshelf.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An exchange program at University of Washington in Seattle, USA.

A backpacking trip to the North West of Argentina (Jujuy, Salta and Tucuman).

A backpacking trip to Uruguay and all its wonderful beaches.

Performing live at the radio and a TV show with my duet Veintiséis.

Having two surprise parties planned by my best friends without having any clue beforehand!

Starting my own entrepreneurship and seeing it grow!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Spanish and Argentine culture and funny things. I have travelled among almost every area of my country and love giving recommendations of things to do and how to plan a great trip. If you happen to know Spanish and want to practice: we definitely can!

I can teach you how to bind books if you are a crafty person as I am! I have my own brand of handmade notebooks (www.florencelivres.com.ar) and this is something I really enjoy doing and sharing.

I also sing and love musical theater. If you are a musician we should definitely do something together! I love playing/singing with new friends from different cultures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share information about Buenos Aires and Argentina. I'd love to help you plan a trip there!
I can also teach or practice spanish with you :)
