About Me
Energetic travel lover and charity worker currently spending 1 year volunteering in a remote Norwegian village with the Red Cross.
My life currently consists of working at an international college with people from over 95 countries that is designed to promote peace and cooperation. My job is to run outdoor activities such as skiing, canoeing and hiking with students from all over the world aged 16-24 and also with young Norwegian children.
Because I am in a very remote location my free time mostly involves outdoor activities as well. In mid July I will return to the UK to work for 2 months before heading to Central America for roughly 9 months (if current plans hold!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have met many fantastic people on my travels who have used coachsurfing and always fancied giving it a go myself. When I was in Australia I spent 3 weeks staying with people I'd met, often briefly, on previous travels and it was a great experience.
Interests
In all honesty I can get excited about anything and am pretty easy to please. I got quite into knitting during the winter here in Norway... so I'll happily give anything a go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently watched an amazing blind girl from Spain complete a 10km race at the world's biggest annual snow sports event for people with disabilities.
A few months earlier she'd never skied and I was running around on tracks pulling her along at my side. She was very scared back then and I thought I was going to die from exhaustion running with her in the snow, so it was a very special experience to see her complete the race.
It was made even better by the fact that I also got to watch our other 3 athletes, from Cambodia, El Salvador and Iraq, complete their races at the same finish line!
