Hi, I'm Beni :) I'm new to couchsurfing ...

I'm female (in case there was any confusion there!), in my early 40s, originally from Cambridge, England but currently travelling around Europe doing workaway/helpx/wwoof volunteer work on farms, etc. and using my weekends to explore the area I'm in and to be a tourist.

The main things that you might like to know about me:
- I'm housetrained - I clean up after myself & respect your home;
- As a seasoned traveler, I'm comfortable almost anywhere;
- I'm not a party animal, although I do drink alcohol sometimes;
- I'm easygoing, peaceful & cheerful. I'm sociable & friendly but also like my own space to relax and to be quiet;
- I *love* food! I'm mostly wheat-free & vegan, sometimes vegetarian;
- I also *love* cats & animals generally;
- I'm deeply spiritual & philosophical, and interested in life, the multiverse and everything!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm currently working my way around Europe but it's great to explore my nearest town or city when I have time off ... and even better to see somewhere through the eyes of someone local and to see the place beyond the surface tourism. It's also great, of course, to connect with a fellow human and to discover all we have in common :)

Intereses

Spirituality, conscious awareness & enjoying every Now moment in this human adventure! I love walking, nature, animals (but not zoos/imprisoned), good vegan/veggie food, the occasional drink, smaller music venues (pubs rather than big clubs). I'm less keen on museums & indoor spaces ... if the weather is good, I much prefer to be outdoors and save the museums for a rainy day ...

Música, películas y libros

Any music performed with passion! Folk, jazz, classical, rock & roll. 60s/70s is possibly my favourite era - Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Stones, Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan, etc, etc. I like movies when I need to switch off my mind ... dramas, thrillers, sci-fi. I read a lot but pretty much only metaphysical stuff ... Seth, Ra, Esther Hicks/Abraham ...

Algo increíble que he hecho

Cared for two people I love who had cancer, skydived from 16,000 ft, swam with dolphins, been in Stonehenge at Solstice, been inside the Great Pyramid in Egypt, meditated in Sedona, seen the Northern Lights in Iceland ... it's hard to pick just one. Life is amazing & beautiful in every moment :)
