Woody Allen is paying me royalties for using my neuroses as a basis for his characters. True story. I'm still counting.
That said, I'm interested in a million things and would like to live accordingly; so far, time has proven the biggest constraint. I enjoy exploring new places, meeting interesting people, both new and well-known, to exchange ideas and possibilities with, to learn new things from. That does include cooking recipes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing and hosting. This might come as a surprise.
I surfed some couches in London and and the lovely town of Brighton for the very first time in the winter of 2010 and I hope to add more experiences in the future.
Literature, movies, music, visual arts (especially photography), humour, learning new things and ideas, history, international issues, the aesthetics of punctuation, making paragraphs align beautifully, social cooking, eating & drinking, going out to dance and not regretting it the next day, social YouTube, sharing stories... and about 2046 more things, which I may or may not list in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
There's not much point in making a selection that will feel horribly incomplete. So let's just have my favourites of our dearly departed year 2010 instead. [Note: It's been a while, fo' sho', but just deal with it? I do.]
Movies: "El Secreto De Sus Ojos", "Mary & Max", "Die Fremde", "11'E 10 Kala", & "Moon".
Music: Foals - Spanish Sahara, Future Islands feat. Katrina Ford - In The Fall, World's End Girlfriend - Les Enfants Du Paradis, Arcade Fire - Suburban War & Scanners - Salvation.
Books (not necessarily released in 2010): Joseph Roth - Radetzkymarsch, Jack Kerouac - The Dharma Bums, Cormac McCarthy - The Road, Peter Handke - Wunschloses Unglück, Gabriel Garcia Marquez - The Autumn Of The Patriarch, Laurence Sterne - The Life And Opinions Of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman & Erich Fried - Mein Heldenzeitalter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate.
