Avoiding middle-life mediocrity
I'm glad I realized that I'm too young for for a 9-5 job in a cubicle, because my post-college panic led me to a 10 month adventure in the Balkans (and beyond) as a Diabetes Research Fellow. Currently, I'm working for an international health organization, while simultaneously embracing and absorbing all I can from the world before I start medical school in the States.
Very recent college grad from Boston. Trained in medical anthropology and biology. Love dogs, independent rock music and driving at night.
Privilege is hard to come by, so don't waste it. Use it to help someone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Brand-spankin' new to couch surfing! Seems like an excellent idea I wanted to be a part of.
Far and wide. But lately I've been trying my hand at website design and computer programming. Thinking about how I can combine these tools with my work as a research fellow. I'm an avid basketball fan. Will drop just about anything to watch the Arizona Wildcats or Jeremy Lin play. I also like being outside, practicing meditation, and pretending I that I can actually cook haha.
